hiking staff defence - the easy way

Camping and hiking holidays are an inexpensive and fun way to spend time outdoors and recuperate from everyday life. Sitting under the stars, cooking out, and eating smores can just make any day seem better.

Yes, blisters are a discomfort but poor quality boots can cause problems far worse. Most camping trips are best enjoyed in places that have never been visited before by you. However, keep in mind that you don t have to sleep in a tent or in a sleeping bag.

Vegetables are also quite useful for family camping or hiking trips, because they can be cut up in advance, and put into easily carryable plastic bags. There are some sport-wool fabrics that are used in long johns, next a warm layer of clothing that may be a fleece type material and finally a quick-drying outer layer from a material like nylon or goretex. Dressing warmly is obviously a major issue.

Always wear a knitted hat or a woolen beanie and bring an extra one just in case. Nature walks and hiking are a great way to explore the outdoors and learn about nature. An axe, a hatchet and a small bucksaw are all very important tools while camping.

Get out there and unwind. Indoor climbing is a safe way to get a feel for the sport of rock climbing.
